Trek engineers designed the SPA (Suspension Performance Advantage) system to take the bumps out of road riding without adding a lot of weight or inhibiting speed. It delivers half an inch of adjustable rear travel for all-day comfort and better traction. To prove the point, Trek sent Discovery Team rider George Hincapie to the Paris-Roubaix — one of the word's most grueling races — to try it out. The result? Hincapie's best finish ever: second-place!
